Information about Windows Recovery
Windows Recovery is a malicious security program that gets on the targeted PC with a help of Trojans. Besides, it may come together with some fake video codecs, misleadingly required to watch some videos online, mostly with adult content ones. After getting on board undetected, it has its basic function which is to mislead computer users into thinking that there are many infections on their systems. This brainwashing campaign won’t end and you will be surely suggested to repair all of the earlier reported infections it detects. However, Windows Recovery just like System Diagnostic has no capabilities to fix anything because it’s the same virus which needs to be removed. Besides, you will be asked to pay the money for its ‘licensed version’ which in reality is fake:
Requested registry access is not allowed. Registry defragmentation required

32% of HDD space is unreadable
Bad sectors on hard drive or damaged file allocation table
GPU RAM temperature is critically high. Urgent RAM memory optimization is required to prevent system crash

Registry Error – Critical Error
Windows Recovery begins its misleading scanning of computer as soon as PC is rebooted. This scan is just mimicking of a computer checking process and has no informative value. Just after the scanning is done, malware starts announcing numerous viruses detected. 47 or more infections will be found even your machine is perfectly clean and has no problems. You will also be issued a popup saying that you can easily resolve these alleged security problems with a help of ‘registered version’ of Windows Recovery. However, when the ad is clicked, you will be asked paying for this tool, what’s not recommended. Here are more examples of misleading alerts displayed by Windows Recovery:
