System Check is a fake computer optimization program that spreads on computers with the help of Trojan viruses and imitates being a system defragmenter. The program displays fake alerts scaring you about your hard disk problems and recommending purchasing a full version of System Check in order to get the problems of your system solved.

Once inside the computer, System Check is configured to start automatically with each system reboot. Yu will see a scanner of System Check looking for infections on your machine without your permission after each login to Windows. The program displays particular problems of your system and claims that some of them could not be repaired. Then it recommends solving these problems as soon as possible using a full version of System Check.

Have in mind that System Check is able to to delete some shortcuts and store the backups on the Temp folder. If you use any temp file cleaners as you will remove all the backups of those programs. Besides, some folders may appear to be empty because System Check is able to hide certain files. Do not worry about it, as soon as you get rid of System Check all these problems will be solved.

The program also blocks some of your legitimate programs saying that some error has appeared because you hard drive is corrupted. Beware that it can even block your antispyware program which will lead to more infections entering your system.
