Information about Trojan.Dozer
Trojan.Dozer is a Trojan virus which is usually responsible for malicious actions and serious damage done for the computer. Mostly performing Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks, this malicious program comes to the PC attached in a spam email message. Trojan.Dozer is mostly hiding itself under pxdrv.nls file name and is trying to connect to the certain IP address after activating itself. The backdoor of the machine is opened for the remote attackers to come to the PC secretly and that is what all the PC owners should be concerned about.
Trojan.Dozer is designed to be updated automatically and it may download additional files on the PC. What is more, this malware is trying to replace the master boot record and search for files with certain extensions, like .php, .pdf, .txt. All the files which are unable to open by Dozer or the files with size of zero bytes are deleted right after detection.
