Information about Safety Center
Safety Center is a rogue anti-spyware application, fake spyware remover that uses such misleading methods as false scan results and fake security alerts to scare the user of the compromised computer into thinking that his PC is seriously infected. The rogue application is a clone of Secret Service and Privacy Center malware. Most of the time, it enters a computer secretly without user's permission and knowledge, but can be installed manually too. Once installed, Safety Center will drop many harmless files and identify them as very serious system security threats. Do not install or buy this software. Instead, uninstall Safety Center from the system upon detection.
While running, Safety Center will perform fake computer scan and report a variety of infections. However, the scan results are false. You can safely ignore them. The same could be said about fake security alerts and notifications from Windows Task bar. These alerts state that your computer is under attack or that anti-virus protection is disabled.
