HDD Defragmenter

Information about HDD Defragmenter

HDD Defragmenter is just one of those fake computer error repair and optimization programs that normally imitate scanning of hard drives for problems. Typically, HDD Defragmenter spreads through trojans viruses that attach themselves to doubtful origin flash updates or fake video codecs misleadingly required for watching something online.

Having got inside the system, HDD Defragmenter drops a number of odd-named files whose function is to act as system files that later will be detected as dangerous infections. To “find” them, HDD Defragmenter performs frequent security scans and then asks its victims to buy registered copy in exchange for PC security services. However, keep in mind that there is nothing that has to be removed from your computer instead of this scamware. Get rid of HDD Defragmenter as soon as you notice it and never purchase it as well!

You must have figured out HDD Defragmenter is not a real anti-spyware thing and it will show up out of nowhere when you login to Windows. Being released for only ripping users off, it will definitely block some important programs on your machine and then will display various system security notifications and error messages like these:

System Error!
