Clearway Shield is a rogue anti-spyware program, like so many others before it. This parasite spreads by using trojans, which typically come in the form of fake downloads online. Clearway Shield uses misleading advertising to trick people into purchasing it's "full version", which doesn't actually work.

Once inside, this parasite floods the user with popups and fake system notifications, supposedly to inform him of an infection or multiple infections present on the system. While this information may be correct due to coincidence, Clearway Shield has no basis to make these claims. Much like any other rogue, Clearway Shield performs fake scans, which mark legitimate files as threats, and ask that you pay for the full version, which is supposedly required to remove detected threats.

Clearway Shield is a threat and should be removed immediatelly upon detection.
