Adware
Adware is any software package which automatically displays advertisements on a computer desktop while the application is still running. They show up in a web browser, pop-up windows and special toolbars or within the host program. Adware usually acts without any notice of the user and sends the information about his browsing habits through the background Internet connection. General statistics is used to deliver targeted advertisements to the end users, so mostly adwares are used for the marketing and advertising reasons.
