In registry it is kept the data almost from every part of software. This component is so important, that Windows would not even start without it.

Windows registry, as the main part of PC, is often modified by the major part of all dangerous parasites, especially browser hijackers, trojans, spyware and adware threats. Various registry entries, new keys, default values are created or changed by those parasites.
