Scammers Make Huge Money from Rogue Anti-spywares

 

Sooner or later computer owner learns about security software which is necessary for the system to function properly. Just because of knowing that too, hackers have created numbers of various rogue antivirus programs. All these applications attempt to scare and push the trustful users into spending their money for these useless security tools.

The number of fake security programs has increased extremely this year and has reached average of around 9,287 per month. All these fake applications has been turned into a serious money making machine by scammers. The Washington Post's Security Fix recently showed that because of spreading this junk software creators can earn more than $330,000 a month. These people take advantage of people’s fear and make them believe that purchasing and installing “licensed” version of exact anti-spyware will help to remove all the viruses in their PCs. Be careful what and where you buy, because even legitimate sources may sold you infected security software.
